Fabrication of Glass‐Ceramic 3D Micro‐Optics by Combining Laser Lithography and Calcination

چکیده

This perspective is an overview of a recent direction in optical 3D printing, where polymerization crosslinkable materials and nanomaterial fillers can be guided to the final structures new composites via high temperature annealing (HTA). Defining nano/micro-structures by ultrafast laser direct writing tailoring their precursor composition with subsequent tunability properties during 750–1500 °C HTA step takes place at large surface-to-volume ratio conditions favoring efficient pyrolysis calcination, which are required for exchange chemical materials/gases between glass/ceramic phase surrounding. Previously, unexplored inorganic material formation terms fast thermal quenching, mixing surface tension harnessed glass making creation endowed preferable technical properties. An immediate application durability, integrated, active micro-optics foreseen.

Fabrication of metallic nanowires and nanoribbons using laser interference lithography and shadow lithography.

Ordered and free-standing metallic nanowires were fabricated by e-beam deposition on patterned polymer templates made by interference lithography. The dimensions of the nanowires can be controlled through adjustment of deposition conditions and polymer templates. Grain size, polarized optical transmission and electrical resistivity were measured with ordered and free-standing nanowires.
